Give me your hand

Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror.
Just keep going.  No feeling is final.
Don’t let yourself lose me.

Nearby is the country they call life.
You will know it by its seriousness.

Give me your hand.

– Rainer Maria Rilke

Gorgeous. Putting this right in to my journal. “No feeling is final.” I need to remember that…

How amazing that I read this today.
My sister has gone back to the hospital due to complications from another surgery.
    My parents are falling apart.
The only thing keeping me sane is the concept that life is hard…serious…that it comes with good and bad (beauty and terror), and you must dive in and live it, even when you’re scared.
    I’m saving this poem.

I am so sorry about all that is going on. Keep thinking of these lines … I know they have provided sustenance for me in difficult times. Thinking about you. xoxo
