Lindsey, you have captured such a beautiful moment with your usual wit and eloquence.

As for you son’s red wine comment, I couldn’t help but laugh out loud! It reminded me of a memory. In my church, the kids under the age of 3 can be placed in the nursery during the break-off meetings. One day, in order to get my brother to comply and be quiet during the closing prayer, I whispered in his ear “Shhh you can go to nursery soon!” He shouted back, “I HATE NURSERY!”

Enough said.

These are wonderful memories. I started, and have yet to finish, a post yesterday on the Baptism of the Jesus and in turn remembering all my children’s baptisms. I will finish it some time this week but love your words here!!
